Having just graduated from Rome Tre University in October, where I earned a Laurea Specialistica (Master’s Degree) in Business and Management, with honors (110/110 cum laude), and having completed a graduation thesis regarding the subject of “E-learning in Public and Private Organizations”, in the Human Resources Management and Development course, I feel I am very qualified to start a professional career in the business field.
Beginning at age one, I lived abroad, for four years in Washington D.C., USA, three years in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and three years in Boston, USA. During that time, I attended American schools and learned English and Italian, both of which are spoken in my family. Therefore, I am bilingual and continue to practice English by traveling abroad, watching movies in their original version, and reading books. I have also spent four summers in Johannesburg, South Africa.
I have excellent knowledge of Windows OS, Office and Microsoft applications, and of the concepts and tools of web based learning and training due to the research accomplished while writing my Master’s Degree graduation thesis. I also have excellent relational, problem solving and teamwork skills developed while working in many team projects in university.
A month after my graduation, I was offered a stage in the Human Resources department of an important Italian multinational oil, gas and energy company. What I would like to do in the long term, though, is find a work opportunity in the United States, and more specifically in San Francisco or the Bay Area.
